About Footnotes

Footnotes, a student produced program broadcast in the 2010-2011 school year, represents something old and something new for WKMC-TV. The program's name was taken from a WJPM favorite called "Films and Footnotes" which aired in the late '60's on our parent station. Students from Mrs. Diane Rumbel's News Reporting class recreated the show for cablecasting several times each month during the school year. Each 30 minute segment included an in-depth look at a variety of topics including local history and present-day initiatives, issues, and events around the viewing area. "Footnotes" aired regularly during the 2010-2011 school year and will return again on specially designated evenings with dates and times to be announced on your MCA station WKMC-TV 13.
