Mrs. Rumbel is looking for a camera person to cover the flag raising ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 21st at 1:00 p. m. on Second and Oak Streets, Mount Carmel. The honored verterean is "Red" Miscavage. Some of you might remember him. He was that elderly gentlemen who often visited the studio and worked at the front desk of the high school during the last two years. Mr. Miscavage was a great supporter of WKMC-TV. If you can find the time for about one hour on that day, please contact myself or Mrs. Rumbel.

If you are signed up for AP Literature, make sure you are well on your way to completing your summer reading assignments.

Last chance for picking up clothing left at the studio is Friday Aug. 12. There are many good clothing items left and I am sure some of them belong to returning studio members. Please save your parents some money and pick them up. If they are left after next Friday, I will give them to Interact.

Sad news... Penn State has negotiated a deal with ESPN to cover their football games this fall. Apparently that network undercut your price. Don't feel bad. You still might get the contract at MCA.
